Mr. Lovett, in speaking of the property in this section, stas that the supply is not adequate to the demand, and that prices are rising. The accessibility of that portion of the city lying between Nassau and Fulton streets and Hudson avenue, to all lines of transit, either to New York or by railroad floats to New Jersey and other shipping points, is beginning to be appreciated by firms who desire to be near, but cannot exist in New York cn account of the high prices cf land and rentals.
