Women's Suits.

Walking jacket or blouse suit? is the standing: question. Many set tle it by adopting the Irish statesman's compromise taking one of each. A wise plan for after all, each one is best, for certain uses. Here are three representatives of cach style. Two are quiet, elegant suits with fly front jacket, coats and skirts silk lined throughout.

Si 5 for navy or black storm serge; $17.50 for wide wale cheviot serge. The third is a new and uncommonly stylish suit of fine covert cloth, cadet blue or dark gray, the trim jacket elegantly stitched and bound, and seams corded with narrow black braid $30. Of the blouse suits, the handsomest is one in fine broadcloth at $37; close fitting at back, with buttoned pockets; the skirt braided and button trimmed at bottom. Jacket and skirt are full lined with changeable taffeta; silk dust ruffle on skirt. Another full silk lined blouse suit is in navy or black broadcloth, artistically braid trimmed front and back, at $30; and one at $21 is of black, navy, green, or brown cheviot serge, the waist only silk lined.

It fastens diagonally from the shoulder, and has a girdle of heavy black cord. One point you'll notice is that our blouse waists here grow better in form and cut they are neater, and define the figure better than at first. Second flour. Muslin Underwear. The vice of underwear stocks is that they are apt to provide only regular goods and average sizes.

A delightful feature" of this underwear store is that extra sized people are cared for, too; and then, beside regular underwear, you find such things as these: Canton flannel drawers, plain hem, embroidery trimmed, 50c. and 75c; extra size, 75c. and $1. Flannelette night gowns, neat stripes, plain or trimmed with embroidery or ribbon, with ruffle on neck and sleeves, 50c to Si .50. Here you have every facility for making up underwear sets.

The laces and embroideries are the same on the various garments. Night gowns. 50c. Muslin, yoke of fine plaits, embroidery trimmed. 50c.

Notes on all Floors. You valuable suggestions by walking through the model furnished apartments on the fourth floor. Permanent quarters are to be provided for the Picture Gallery on the fifth floor. That's the only feature that could be improved on. An hour flies quickly here.

There's no kitchen ware superior to the Crystal Steel ware; and it's selling here at half if you get here soon enough. How many stores beside Wahaniaker's do you suppose are really selling blankets now at the old tariff prices? How many do you suppose could, if they wanted to Some old advertisements, like old hooks, are better than new ones. Yesterday's advertisements of dress goods and linens are full of value for those who can get here to day. Some people are still trustfully raving S50 and $(50 for sewing machines. They prob ably think in a hazy way that the W'anamaker sewing machine at SIS must be a toy, not to be taken seriously.
