NOTICE is hereby given to the owner or owners of the premises hereinafter mentioned, and to all others whom it may concern, That in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of New York, passed May 7th 1839, (authorising the Mayor and Common Council of the said City of Rrooklvn to sell Lands for Non Payment ofTaxes, at Public Auction,) by virtue of the said authority, the Common Council by resolution have directed their Clerk to advertise and sell all property returned for non payment ofTaxes, by the Collectors of the several Wards in the said city of Brooklyn, for the year 1842.

In pursuance of said resolution, the following parcels of property will be sold, (to any person who will take the same for the lowest term of years, and pay the amount of taxes and three per cent for default of payment, together with interest due thereon and all other charges,) on Thursday, November 9, 1843, at the Common Council Room, City Buildings, (corner of Henry and Cranberry streets.) at 12 o'clock, at noon, unless the same be paid to the said Clerk on or before the above named day.
