E. Anniversary Tonight's Programme. Babylon, L. October 27 The anniversary at the Methodist Church is nearly at an end and one more service that of this evening remains to be held. Last evening the Rev.

J. B. Stockdale of Brooklyn preached to a large and enthusiastic gathering of young people, representing all of the adjacent villages. It was the largest assemblage of the kind ever witnessed in Babylon. The Rev.

Mr. Stockdale Is fully In sympathy with the younger element, and his address was one that not only demonstrated his sympathy, but also aroused that of his hearers. The soloist last evening was Miss Inez Donaldson, who was heard toexcellent advantage, while the Giblin sisters, with harp and violin, fully sustained their reputations as accomplished performers on those Instruments. To night's programme will include addresses by the Rev. Drs.

George Adams and Edwin A. Blake, and the Rev. William P. Estes, former pastors; the formal unvaillng of a marble tablet erected to the memory of William Riley Foster, one of the firmest friends the church ever had, and a social gathering in the chapel, where refreshments will be served.
