Dealings were In small volume and were confined to a few Issues. Inhere was little demand for stocks and a sladlt Inquiry. Brokers reported few new orders and practically no investment demand. The later margct broadened some'hat and while transfers were made in a larger number of issues the curb was at no time animated and during the midday session was lifeless an foaturcless. American Can issues were again the conspicuous features of curb trading and were under the pressure of further liquidation, although insiders offered better support than heretofore. It sold at 707 an 70S as against a sale of 710 last night and with nearly 300 shares changing hands; a very large business in this high priced issue. Dominion Securities were fairly active and 600 shares sold at 84Vi Consolidated Oil sold at 58 and 60 cents for 500 shares. White Knob Copper sold at 17 and Peoria, Decatur and Evansville sold at a for 200 shares. Three hundred shares of International Salt sold at 33 and Snap Hook and Eye sold at 40. ApacHe Copper sold at 4 and odd lots of Tennessee Copper at 13.
