Police Captain Short with his detectives went to work a few hours after the robbery and managed to recover all the missins chests of tea which were removed to the Bedford avenue station where they are pried 1 nearly ten feet high. Captain Short continued working on the case in hopes of capturing the bold robbers and his efforts met with success when Herbert Lc Clair, who gave his age as 26 and his address as S3 Bowery, Manhattan, called at Allen's offic to pay him for the job of removing the tea, was captured by the. policemen in waiting. i Pater J.

Gilligan, the proprietor of ths place where tne tea to recovered, had been previously arrested, but he disclaimed all knowledge of the robbery. Barker, who claims that during her husband's absence from home Mr. Keller called and assaulted her. The lawyer said that it may be he would insist on the fact that these extenuating circumstances should be Drought out. One thing came up in the early part of tho day which points to a line of the defense, and that is that Barker was in front of the clergyman when ho fired, and not behind, as the prosecution insists. Patterson, manager of Scranton and Lehigh Coal Company. Tho company has large coal pockets at North Sixth street. The company shaved the price to regular customers during the coal famine last winter, but from present indications wiil be compelled to keep up with the prices set down by the Coal Mining Company, who control all the mines and the entire output of coal. Patterson this morning said that the June price at present, together with putting it in coal bins, was $5. GO.

There would be an advance cn this price of 10 cents during July which will make the price of every ton of coal delivered $5.70. Each month there will be an advance of 10 cents a ton. Atlantic Yacht Club, Sea Gate, L. June 18 Weather conditions are more favorable for the annual regatta of the Atlantic Yacht Club. A breeze is blowing from the southeast and appears to be freshening a bit, a condition prayed for by all the contending yachts.

Gravesend Bay is filled with beautiful pleasure yachts as spectators and competitors in connection with what promises to be a star regatta. Chalky white mainsails hang flapping in the wind and head sails are up in stops, Impatiently awaiting the weighing of anchor in preparation for the preparatory gun. A number of steam launches and yachts, gayly bedecked with fluttering bunting, are in the offlng, ready to follow the racers over the course. A large number of craft, whioh sailed in the Larchmont Yacht Club races yesterday, are Included in the appended list of starters and insure excellent sport in all events. The start was scheduled for 11 o'clock off Craven Shoal buoy.
