Somo little interest and considerable merriment was produced in the Police Court yesterday afternoon by a narrative of tho adventures of Willougbby Gross, a facetious darkey, as related by hiroecir. Gross belongBto Flatbush, and Flat hush belongs to him, forasmuch as that at certain phases or the moon, Villoughby is monarch of all ho surveys. In Ilycrson street it was luck to happen In with a couple of friends whom, he had notmet with for a long while. The meeting was an excuse for a drink or course. It is much easier getting into a house than getting out of it, and sundry treats passed within. At last it came to Oross's turn, but ho excueed himself "waived them off," as he expresaed It, on ti plea tba', be had received no remittances from the South since the war commenced. This the "b'hoys" denounced as "gammon," and Willoughby's hat was pronounced contraband.
