You men who long to osculate, Remember Richmond Hobson's fate! A youth he was of fair renown, Who juggled vessels up and down Not far from Santiago Town. And then unlucky man! he came To be a hero tor the same A victim of hysteric dame. Romantic virgin or old maid Whom kissless years made unafraid Of rank of any sort or grade. From East to West, in Xorth and South, They flew to his unguarded mouth; They tried his brow with smacks to declct They gave them to him in the neck. Until he was a blistered wreck.

Chicago Record recently described in an eastern newspaper, in which innocent lives are sacrificed without a moment's warning, with a shudder of horror. Three lives would have been spared if the warning from the spectator across the street had come but a second earlier. And yet all around in the faces of near and dear ones we see the tokens and warnings of approaching disaster that will wreck life and happiness, and we go on as if not realizing the importance of these slow but sure messengers of an early doom to disease and death. Women frequently feel in their inner selves that they are not in proper health; they know something is wrong with their specially womanly organism. They are reluctant to consult a physician because the physicians whom they know all insist upon very trying as well as unnecessary "examinations" and "local treatment." Thus they neglect these minor symptoms wbich could be so readily and easily cured, and the trouble soon assumes a more alarming form.

In this way many women suffer untold agonies which could be entirely avoided by taking the right remedy. Then there are women who through ignorance of their own womanly physiology are unable to properly detect the cause of their troubles. They never give it a thought but that they are suffering from some form of dyspepsia or perhaps liver or heart trouble. In nine cases out of ten the average physician will concur in these opinions and treat them for some ailment entirely foreign to the real cause of their sickness. For all weakness and disease peculiar to the specially feminine organism there is an unfailing cure in Dr.

Pierce's Favorite Prescription. It is soothing in its action and pleasant to take. The sufferer can take it in the privacy of her own home and thus avoid the publicity of consulting her physician. She will be certain that she is reaching the very seat of her weakness and trouble, and that as a result she will regain her natural health and strength. It is a great preparatory medicine for women about to become mothers.

It builds up and prepares the system, giving strength, vigor, virility and elasticity to the organs concerned. It is a beneficent aid to nature in preparing the mother for her trial. It insures robust children and a bountiful supply of nourishment. It heals all ulceration, soothes pain, stops debilitating drains and tones and strengthens the nervous system. Tens of thousands of women all over the country who have become the mothers of healthy, happy children through the use of Dr.

Pierce's Pavorite Prescription, had lost every former little one. These women have cheerfully given their written testimonials to Dr. Pierce, hoping in this way to persuade other anxious women to tike his Favorite Prescription and thereby insure not only their own safe and easy deliverance in trial, but also save the lives of the little new comers. These testimonials, with the names and addresses of their writers, can be found in Dr. Pierce's Common Sense Medical Adviser, which will be sent free to all women who will send for it.

This book is to day in the homes of over 1,200,000 women in this country alone. It has been sold until recently for Si. 50. There is now published a paper covered edition which Dr. Pierce will send free to any woman who is interested to learn about her own physical make up and the care of her own health, upon receipt of the cost of mailing twenfy one one cent stamps.

If a cloth binding is desired send thirty one stamps in all. Address: The World's Dispensary Medical Association. Buffalo, N. Y. A grateful lady residing at guincy, Adams Iowa.

Mrs. Pearl Walton, writes: "Previous to the birth of my child I had no appetite, was sick at ray stomach, had headache, could not rest at night and was completely worn out in every way. I commenced to use Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription and began to improve right away. I used two bottles ofthis great medicine and felt like a new person.

At the time of confinement I was in labor but a little while." LEGAL NOTICES. COUNTY L'OUKT. KIN OS COUNTY KV1SLYN 6. RtdKway against Ada A. Shipman and other sin pursuance of a judKnnnt of foreclosure and fiak' made in the above entitled action on the 2th clay uf February.
