In the case of Richard Paulson, the Hoyt street butcher who was killed while trying to give aid in a collision between a trolley car and a business wagon, the Jury returned a verdict that the motorman, Henry A. Marr, was guilty of criminal negligence and utterly incompetent to perform the duties to which he had been assigned by the company, and that the company was guiltj' of criminal negligence in having employed an incompetent motorman on the car.
