Medical. We noticed some time ago the effort made by the President of the Kings County Medical Society, of the old orthodox, big pill, allopathic school, to have all the members of tie profession join the Society as directed by law. We observe that the infinitessimal school of homopathists met last night, to form a society of their own, and the Eolectic (what's that prufessois are taking similar steps. Patients can thus be killed off secundem artem, and can choose any method from such a variety. There i only one way of entering life, but is a consolation to know that there are several methods of quitting it, and so maDy ready to aid us in shuffling off this mortal coil.

KIRBY, Captain. Chas. Demeuest, Secretary. 2t as catarrh7the parent of Bronchitis and Consumption, often follows a si' Tie cold, and, while suffering from the effects of Catarrh poison, the patient often imagines that he has merely colli in the head." Catarrh arises from a diseased stale or the pituitary gland, which is situated above nof back of the eyes, and near the brain itself. From this glaud flows a pure, lubricating fluid that perform the same office for the o'factory nerves the seat of the sense of smell, that the tears do to the eye.

It has long been known that catarrh is the cause of grat sun" iug, headaches, deafness, loss of be sense of smell, nd the proliflc parent of bronchitis, lung complaints, and consumption; and, while tho proftesioQ has been aware of this, it has been confessed, and almost passedt mo an axiom that "a remedy for catarrh has never bef discovered. This is no longer for Dr. COODALE, a physician of I'orty years' practice, has successfully treated the worst and most formidable cases, and completely and radically cured them. Rejecting the theory of books as falln clous, and 'their treatment a impotent in curing ihe disease, the doctor has sought for and has discovered an el fectual remedy, and he invites the worst coses to the test.
