HIGGINS, Mgr. Brooklyn, N. Y. Officials to Maintain Schedules in Plan to Clear Obligations in 20 Years No, there will be no commutation rates for users of the Triboro Bridge, The point was raised yesterday by a Queens resident who makes two round trips over the span every day, contributing four 25-cent pieces to the unceasing stream of coin that goes into the payment coffers of this $55,000,000 project. The question was answered by Col.

Loser, executive officer. "This has been brought up before," said the Colonel. "and you can safely say that it has been definitely decided that there will be no commutation rate and no reduction." 27,000 Vehicles Cross Daily The bridge is averaging 27.000 vehicles a day in the record flow of traffic that it has partly assisted and partly created. Sightseers are still flocking to enjoy the marvels of its facilities. Their quarters, totaling 6,750 a day, are owed partly to bondholders of the Authority and largely to the Federal Government, which, in addition to lending money, made an outright grant to permit the work to be completed in the interest of the employment it provided.

At the present rate of inflow the officials hold to their original estimate that the bridge obligations will have been met by 1957. But commutation or weekly or ten cutrate tickets? They are definitely out, Mrs. Hershfield. Widow, Dies at 71 Mrs. Henrieta Hershfield.
