Clarence A. Walsh, 58, hero of the Diamond candy factory fire in Williamsburg In 1915, where he helped to rescue four women and two men, died yesterday In hU home, 1089 Sterling Place. He was attaohed to Hook fc Ladder Co. 153 and suffered a stroke six weeks ago. Lieutenant Walsh held two medals and a number of commendations for heroism which he received during the 35 years he served In the Fire Department.

He received the William S. Hurley Medal and the Department Medal for the candy factory fire rescues. Almost 1100,000 worth of specific bequests are also made to relatives.

Miss Redwood died on Nov. 28 at her residence, 47 Plasa Bt. The pe tltion to probate the will said that her estate eonslsted of no real and "mora than $10,000 personal prop erty." The charity bequests are: Thirty thousand dollars to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Manhattan; $20,000 each to the Memorial Hospital for the Treatment of Cancer and Allied Diseases, Manhattan; the New York Institute for tha Education of the Blind, the Bronx, and the New York Society for Relief of the Ruptured and Crippled, and $15,000 to Miss Fine's School of Princeton, N. J. Miss Redwood also left a $5,000 trust fund for the upkeep of a plot she owns In Hartsdale Canine Cemetery.

Bequests From Trust Fund The bequests to Individuals were made out of the principal of a trust fund established for her by the will of her father, William R. Redwood. She left $10,000 to a grandnlece, Agnes Eleanor Redwood Fergus of Falls City, $22,500 each to nephews Langford W. Redwood and Frank Redwood of Norfolk, Va $20,000 to a nephew, William L. Redwood, of Falls City, and $5,000 each to grandnleces, Florence E.

Redwood Eisenbise of Morrill, Irene J. Redwood Sandrock of Falls City and Alice M. Redwood of Falls City. The remainder of the money In the trust fund is to be shared equally by the nephews, Langford, Frank and William who also share In her Jewelry, furniture and other personal effects. Mrs.

Fergus was bequeathed her aunt's silverware. The rest of the estate was left to the Society of the New York Hospital, Manhattan. Herman Torberg Will Herman H. Torborg, ex-State Senator, ex-Assemblyman and ex-Assistant Corporation Counsel, who died at his residence, 85 Glen on Nov. 26, left $20,000 real and personal property.
