The couple will spend several weeks in Bermuda on a wedding trip and on their return will make their home in Manhattan.

The bride recently was graduated from New York University, School of Commerce, where she was elected the most popular girl in the senior class. She was president of the League of Women and a member of the Student Council of that school. Her father Is Commissioner of Recreation of Yonkers, president of the Jewish Community Center of that place and is president of the Einson Freeman Publishing Corporation of Manhattan. Mr. Friedman attended the University of Miami and New York University.

He is now in business in Manhattan. CONANT GORDON Earl B. Conant of 83 86th St. announces the engagement of his daughter, Miss Marjorie Helen Conant, to George Maxwell Gordon, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs.

The bride will have her sister. Miss Betty Scott, as maid of honor, and Dr. Oswald T. Fleury will be his brother's best man. Miss Scott is a graduate of Holy Family Hospital and a member of the Charity Guild.

Dr. Fleury is a graduate of Middlesex College of Physicians and Surgeons, Boston, and he Is an active member of Phi Iota Mu fraternity.
