Tiebout, president of the club, ed more than 200 prominent Brooklyn and Long Island residents. The club, founded in 1897 by th late Herbert F. Gunnison and composed of 100 leaders in business and the professions, rounded out another year of activity devoted to municipal affairs with a good time and an earnest discussion. However, it was a discussion not. of business or taxes, but of the mysteries of the conga and other modern dances.

The unsung hero of the occasion was Wilson Goodbody, secretary ot the club, who missed the main dinner course, so Intent was he on seeing that every one of the guest was properly accommodated. Tremper Longman was chairman of arrangements. He was assisted by Dr. Henry F. Bruning, Oeane W.

Krueger. Edward D. Sadler and Frederick A. Keck. Cornelius H.
