He also was treasurer and a director of the New York Ophthalmic Hospital, in which he had been actively Interested for 45 years. Became Partner in 1910 Born in New York City, he was the son of the late George Wheeler Robinson, who was a banker, and Mrs. Mary Alice Hyde Robinson. Entering the Benedict office at the age of 16. he became a partner in 1910.

For 12 years Mr. Robinson served in the New York National Guard. He was a member of the Veterans Association of the 23d Regiment, N. Y. N.
