An oratorical contest has been arranged in which contestants will deliver a threeminute address on any topic concerning some character in the Dickens novel.

Finals will be held Jan. 10. An essay contest, open to both junior and senior high students, will be held, continuing into the Spring term. Seton Dispensarians Will Have Tea Dance Tomorrow The Seton Dispensarians of St. Mary's Hospital will hold a tea dance at Shevlin Hall, St. Mark's and Buffalo tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. The St. John's Red Men will furnish the music for dancing.

The debutante wore a Queen Anne gown with puffed sleeves and lace collar of silver -white upholsterer's satin and carried white orchids. Mrs. Childs' gown was of tete de negre and silver lace. Miss Faith Locke Honored By Father at Circus Party Campbell Locke of 580 Park Manhattan, and Lawrence, entertained at a circus supper dance last evening in the starlight roof of the Waldorf-Astoria, Manhattan, for his daughter, Miss Faith Locke, a debutante of last year. The ballroom was decorated to suggest a circus, with one wall painted with a parade of elephants and the other with circus wagons. The pillars were wrapped in red and white canvas and decorated with clowns' masks.

The tables on the balcony were decorated to follow the circus theme.
