MARGOLIS DIES; LIQUOR TRADE PUBLISHER Special to the Brooklyn Eagle Atlantic Beach, July 21-W Margolis, 47, president of LigPublications, and publisher of magazines devoted to wines and liquors, died yesterday in the New York Hospital, 525 E. 68th Manhattan, of an embolism after a short illness. He lived at 60 Vernon Atlantic Beach. The journals. published by the firm are the American Wine and Liquor Journal, Wine and Liquor Retailer, Liquor News, the Monopoly State Review and the Red Book Directory of the Wine and Liquor Trades.

Boehnel Funeral services for William R. Boehnel, 44, motion picture critic for the World -Telegram, were held yesterday in St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, Manhattan. He died Friday of a heart attack. The Rev.

Boehnel's colleagues in the Motion Picture Critics Circle, of which he had been a former president, and representatives from the theater and motion picture companies attended. The body was taken to the Fresh Pond Crematory. He lived at 140 W. 158th Manhattan. Hold Pilgrimage To Mitchel Grave Former city commissioners and associates of the John Purroy Mitchel, including J.

H. Kracke. chairman of the Board of Assessors, made their 22d annual pilgrimage yesterday to the Mitchel grave in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Kracke was Commissioner of Bridges under Mayor Mitchel.

The pilgrimage commemorates the 65th anniversary of the birth of Mayor Mitchel, who was killed July 6. 1918. while training for air service at Lake Charles, La. Among those who attended were Stanley Howe, former executive secretary to Mayor LaGuardia and Deputy Commissioner of Public Charities in the Mitchel administration, and Lamar Hardy, Corporation Counsel under Mayor Mitchel. Maj.

Ormonde de Kay, representing Col. Douglas Johnston, commander of Mitchel Field, which was named in honor of Mayor Mitchel, placed a wreath on the grave. E. W. Coggleshall, Trustee of Church Funeral services for Everett W.

He was an honorary life member of the Oxoboxo Masonic Lodge of a member of the Insurance Square Club and treasurer of the Men's Club of the Pilgrim Church for 25 years, His daughter, Mrs. Alice C.

Annenberg, 64, a German immigrant who became publisher of the Philadelphia Inquirer and half a dozen other newspapers and magazines and organizer of horseracing news, died in St. Mary's Hospital last night, less than two months after he was paroled from Federal prison. With him in his last hours were his wife, his son, Walter, and his seven daughters. The publisher's family tentatively planned a private funeral Thursday at Philadelphia. The body was scheduled to be sent to Philadelphia today.

Ribman Aids Court Move Of Nassau ALP Right Wing Benjamin C. Ribman, borough attorney, appeared before Supreme Court Justice William R. Wilson in Jamaica today in support of a motion to require the Nassau County Commissioners of Elections to accept right- wing petitions of the American Labor party. The petitions were invalidated by the commissioners because of two technical defects. Mrs.

Joseph H. Matzke Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Matzke, 68, of 526 8th a member of the South Brooklyn Board of Trade, will be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home at 86 Lefferts Place. Mrs.

Matzke died yesterday in the Methodist Hospital after an illness of six months, Surviving are her husband, Joseph H. Matzke, and her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth F. Dougherty. He settled in the Spring of 1940 for some $10,000,000, to be paid over a period of seven years.
