"THE GOLEM" (Fifty-fifth Street Playhouse) A French interpretation of the ancient Jewish legend, distinguished by a fine performance by Harry Baur as the mad monarch, Rudolph IL THE GOOD EARTH" (As tor) Sober and painstaking adaptation of the Pearl Buck novel, at its best In its purely descriptive passages. Miss Buck's readers will probably enjoy all of It, for It's a faithful and fairly lrclusive resume of the book. With Paul Muni and Luise Rainer.

"THE SOLDIER AND THE LADY" (Roxy) Anton Walbrook. Margot Grahame and Elizabeth Allan In a new film version of Jules Verne's "Michael Strogoff." "TROUBLE IN MOROCCO" (Fox) With James Holt and Mae Clarke. On the same program: "Let's Get Married," with Ida Lupino and Walter Connolly. "WAIKIKI WEDDING" (Brooklyn and New York Paramount) Hawaii supplies the setting, Bing Crosby the songs and Martha Raye the comedy in this moderately silly musical.
