GOLDHAMMER DIES; TELEGRAPH EXECUTIVE A solemn requiem mass will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the C. Church of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Forest Hills, for John V. Goldhammer, 63, of 70-11 Fleet Forest Hills, who died Saturday. He was president of the Commercial Cable Company, 67 Broad Manhattan.

Mr. Goldhammer, who had been with his company for 49 years, also was vice president, secretary and a director of the Commercial Pacific Cable Company and secretary of the United States and Haiti Telegraph and Cable Company. He started his career as an office boy with the Commercial Cable Company when he was 14 and was elected to the presidency last F. H. Dec. 14 -Funeral services are being planned today for Helen Westley, veteran star of the stage and screen and a native of Brooklyn, who died at her home here Saturday after an illness of several months. She was 63. Miss Westley, who was a member of two Holland -Dutch families, was Henrietta Remsen Meserole Manney before the began her stage career at the age of 18. Soon afterward she was married to John Westley, an actor, and retired from the stage for several years.

They were divorced in 1911 and she resumed her stage work shortly before the first World War, joining the Washington Square Players, which evolved into the Theater Guild. She appeared on the stage only in productions of the Guild until she went to Hollywod in 1934. A brilliant character actress, Miss Westley drew acclaim in virtually all of her Guild roles, which included that of Zinida in "He Who Slapped," Mrs. Zero in "The Adding Machine," Mama in "The Guardsman," Aunt Ella Murphy in "Green Grow the Lilacs" and Emmy in "The Doctor's Dilemma." Vladimir Ledochowski, 76, Superior General of the Society of Jesus (Jesuit order) at headquarters of the order in Rome. was that of Mrs.

Morris in "Moulin Rouge." Other pictures she appeared in were "Death Takes a Holiday," "Zaza," "Lillian Russell," "Million Dollar Baby," "My Favorite Spy," "Bedtime Story," "The House of Rothschild," "Rebecca of Sunnybrook a "Heidi" and "Keep Smiling." Amy D. Friou, Mother of Lawyer Husband and Father Ran Printing Firm Here Mrs. Amy Dyson Friou, mother of George Dyson Friou, borough lawyer and civic worker, died today after a long illness at the home of her son, 82 Rutland Road. She was 74. Mrs.

Friou was born in the old Town of New Lots, the daughter of the late Timothy J. and Susan Dyson. Her father was well known in the newspaper field, having been Albany correspondent for the old Brooklyn Daily Times. He also was the founder of the Patchogue Advance. Mrs.

Friou was the widow of Edwin E. Friou, who was Democratic supervisor of the old 7th Ward here. Her husband was for many years in the printing business with her father in the firm of T. J. Dyson Son at 251 Washington St.

Mrs. Friou was a member of Central Methodist Church for 40 years. Also surviving are another son, Jacob Scott Friou, a civilian engineer with the War Department, and five grandchildren, Lt. Robert E. Friou, U.

S. Ensign George J. Friou, U. S. the Rev.

Kenneth A. Friou, assistant pastor of Emory Methodist Church, Jersey City, Mrs. Lillian A. Baker and Charles D. Friou.

W. B. Wolffe, 68, Ran Tobacco Firm Said to Have Marketed 1st 'King Size' Cigarettes Special to the Brooklyn Eagle Rockville Centre, Dec. 14-Fun'eral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in his home, 48 Davison Place, for William B.

Wolffe, president of the Leighton Tobacco Company, who died of a heart attack Saturday. Mr. Wolffe, who was 68, was said to have been the first to introduce the "king size" cigarettes on the market. He was born in Polo, and was graduated from Harvard University in 1895. Surviving are his widow, Beatrice Wolffe: three sons, Lt.

J. Leighton Wolffe, of the Army Air Forces; William B. and Peter De Forest Wolffe; a daughter, Mrs. Warren J. Taussig, and three grandchildren.

Scally Rites Tomorrow A solemn requiem mass will be offered tomorrow in St. Ephrem's R. C. Church for Luke Scally of 930 Bay Ridge Parkway, a veteran of the first World War and father of three soldiers now serving in the army, who died Saturday. Mr.

Scally formerly was a custodian engineer with the Board of Education. Surviving are his widow. Mary King Scally; six sons, Lt. Patrick, Air Cadet Andrew, Pvt. Jerome and Leo, Raymond and John Scally; two brothers, Michael and Patrick, and three sisters, Catherine and Winifred Scally and Mrs.

S. M. is donor of Woman's Slayer Reported Dying William Dorfler. 38-year-old postoffice employe who killed the girl' he could not marry and fired a bul. let into his chest, was near death today in Cumberland Hospital.

"His condition is very poor," said one doctor. Dorfler shot himself, the bullet lodging near his heart, in his tworoom apartment at 30 Clinton 1 Saturday night after fatally wounding Mrs. Beatrice Kezarjian, an Armenian divorcee. The woman had shared Dorfler's apartment for a year but several weeks ago, after a quarrel, she left and sent word that she intended to marry Ferdinand Mangel, 35-yearold civil engineer, of 231 E. Seaman Freeport.

Dorfler called a three-cornered conference and when Mangel and the woman arrived "to talk things over" Dorfler chased Mangel out by flourishing his gun and then committed the double shooting.
