2 dear Lincoln Requiem COLE, VETERAN OF '98 W. Warrington, AND KIN OF COLONIALS, DIES Marine Engineer Secor Quick Cole, a veteran of the Spanish-American War and a member of a family credited with the longest continuous lineage in this country, died yesterday in his home, 9-60 86th Woodhaven, at the age of 68.0 Mr. Cole was bor in Brooklyn in the old Mansion House, for many years a landmark on Henry St. A son of the late William Madison Cole, president of the Brooklyn Life Insurance Company, direct descendant of John a or inmates wood, first governor of Virginia, and of Tom Quick, famous Indian fighter of Colonial days. He was a resident of Queens for 21 years.

He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and served in the Spanish-American War. He was identified for about years with the People's Trust Company as clerk and at the time of his retirement about ten years ago had been for a number of years confidential clerk for the Pinkerton Detective Agency, He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jeanne Cole; a son, Ernest Quick Cole; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hal- Allen, Ella A.

Dunphy, a veteran of the Spanish-American War, died yesterday in his home, 286 10th after a long illness. He was 72. A native of New Boss, County Wexford, Ireland, he came to this country at the age of 17 and had been a resident of Brooklyn since 1911.

He was connected with the Public Service Commission as a gas meter tester for 15 years, until his retirement three years ago. He was a member of Camp 14, United Spanish War Veterans. Mr. Dunphy is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grace Walsh and Mrs.

Lillian Twible; two sons, William A. and John B. Dunphy, and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the chapel of Joseph G.

Duffy, 237 9th thence to St. Thomas Aquinas R. C. Church where a requiem mass will be offered. Burial will be in Pinelawn National Cemetery, Farmingdale.

Born in Bordentown, N. Miss Oldrey was a resident of Brooklyn for about 30 years. She was formerly secretary and a member of the board of directors of the National Temperance Society of New York and was an active member of that organization for about 50 William Warrington, 69, a marine engineer with the Tice Towing Company and well-known figure on the Brooklyn and Nek York waterfront for the past 50 years, died Friday at the Marine Hospital, Staten Island. Services will be held tonight at 8 p.m. at residence, 558 82d with interment following Monday in Valhalla Cemetery, Staten Island.

A native of Delaware and a Brooklyn resident for 40 years, Mr. Warrington started as a firemen on harbor boats and later became shore engineer with Meseck Towing Lines, Inc. He is survived by his widow, Mary: four children, Mrs. E. C.
