When Mr. O'Brien, who was head of the Charles J. O'Brien Printing Company of 400 Lafayette Manhattan, died in 1929, Mrs. O'Brien was named to succeed him. She was actively at the head of the company when she died.

In 1883 he was appointed by the Governor of Vermont to act as a delegate to the Interstate Educational Convention meeting that year in Louisville, Ky. In 1888 he served as chairman of the Vermont delegation to the General Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

During his long residence in Vermont he was a leading figure at all important Methodist Church functions. Born 60 years ago in Giccnpoint, Captain Stillwaggon wa.s a lifelong resident of Brooklyn. His home was at 793A Willoughby Ave. For 14 years he was a towboat captain with the Transmarine Steamship Co operating out ol Port Newark.

Later lie was connected with the Croton Water Co. and operated its towboat Croton. He then operated principally in New York Harbor. Captain Stillwaggon was a member of Lexington Council 293. K.
