He served as president until the club went out of existence a year ago. Mrs. Annie Gissel, Mother of Doctor Mrs. Annie Gissel died suddenly Monday evening at her home, 919 Park Place, at the age of 85. She as born In Manhattan but had lived most of her life In Brooklyn.

She was the widow of Henry Gissel. She Is survived by six daughters. Mrs. Lucille T. Wulling of Minneapolis.

Mrs. Martha Kerr, Mrs. Sophie Lott, Mrs. Emma Seely of Morrlsvllle, and Katrlna and Anna Marie Gissel; three sons, Dr. Henry Gissel, Bay Ridge physician; William Gissel of New Orleans, and Bernard Gissel, who recently returned from New Zealand, 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
