Then he became a member of the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and for the last year has lived in Washington where he Is on the staff of the Office of Production Management.

He is a grandson of James Schoolcraft Sherman, vice president of tne United States in the Taft Schaefer-Berg Bridal Planned for Sunday The marriage of Miu Gertrude Vivian Schaefer and Albert R. Berg will take place Sunday at 81. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church and will be solemnized by the Rev. Warren L. Wolf, pastor.

Miss Schaefer is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Schaefer and the late George M. Schaefer. Mr, Berg is the son of the late Mr, and Mrs. August R.

Cohen Waldorf-Astoria Scene of Ceremony Miss Ruth Naitove, daughter of Mr and Mrs, Nat Naitove of 2115 Avenue became the bride yesterday of Philip P. Cohen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip P. Cohen of 240 Central Park South, Manhattan.

Rabbi Harry Halpern performed the ceremony at the Waldorf-Astoria, Manhattan, and a reception followed. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Natalie Naitove, and Harold Slegel was Mr. Cohen's best man. The bride wore an ivory satin gown made with a long train and long tight-fitting sleeves. Her ceil of duchess and rose-point lace was held by a coronet of orange blossoms and she carried a Bible with large orchids and butterfly orchid markers.

The attendant wis gowned in blue faille silk and wore a blue velvet Juliet cap which held a matching tulle veil. She carried African daisies.
