Miss Lyons will enter Notre Dame at Grymes Hills in Staten Island in September. Henderson--Lennon Miss Josephine Lennon, niece of Mrs. Thomas Joseph Lee of 765 Westminster Road, was married to Gerard M. Henderson, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Elmer Joseph Henderson of 844 Lincoln Place, June 19, in the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola. The ceremony was performed by' the Rev. Elmer Joseph Henderson, S.J., of St. Ignatius Church, who is a brother of the bridegroom.

The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Louis Swasey, and wore gown of white chantilly lace with a train, cathedral cut, over white satin. She wore a short veil with a Mary of Scotland headdress, and carried a bouquet of white gardenias and lilies of the valley. Miss Helen McCooey of Brooklyn was the maid of honor and only attendant. She wore a dress of lilac marquisette with hat and shoes of deeper shade and carried bouquet of yellow roses. The altar a was white peonies a and decoratiolas, and palms.

Frederic S. Henderson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The ushers included Robert Kraft, John O'Connor, Stephen Gorey William Henderson, also a brother of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony a reception for members of the family and relatives was held at the bride's home. The couple left for a motor trip to Canada and upon their return will reside at 2164 Caton Ave.

After a trip to Bermuda the couple will make their future residence in Brooklyn. Hadassah News News of Women's Clubs The annual June luncheon of the Dramatic Readers New York, Mrs. Anne C. Tharp, president, was held recently at the Towers Hotel. A program followed the luncheon.

Floyd Bennett Unit A meeting of the Floyd Bennett Unit, 1060, American Legion Auxiliary, will be held at the post rooms on Tuesday evening, at which time the Kings County staff of the American Legion Auxiliary will make its official visit. The junior group of the unit will present a play, "The Making of the Flag," in costumes of the Colonial times. Those who will take part are the Misses Marie Bollinger, Catherine Miller and Grace Miller. Lynbrook Clubs The Garden Group of the Women's Club of Lynbrook will meet tomorrow afternoon at the home of Mrs. Alexander Chalmers.

The Rev. Thaddeus Hoban officiated. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white chiffon redingote over a taffeta gown. Her tulle veil was held in place by a tiara of gardenias. The bridal bouquet was of gardenias and lilies-of-the- valley.

Miss Florence Marie Ayuso, who was maid of honor for her cousin, wore a yellow taffeta empire gown with a corresponding Mary of Scotland hat. Her sister, Miss Emilia Margaret Ayuso, the bridesmaid, wore a princess gown of coronation blue with a hat to match. Both of the attendants carried bouquets combining the two colors, carried out in delphinium, roses and shasta daisies, The bridegroom had John F. Savarese for his best man. The ushers were James Morano and Anthony Navarro.

After the ceremony there was a reception for the members of the family in the Tower Room of the Hotel George. Upon their return from a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Palumbo will reside at the Parkway Towers, 901 The marriage of Miss Marie Claire Nealis, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Philmus Paznick Mr. and Mrs. Jack Philmus of 95-26 129th Richmond Hill. announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Edith Philmus, to Samuel Paznick of 149 Pulaski St. Miss Philmus is a graduate of John Adams High School and Brooklyn College.

Mr. Pasnick is an RKO assistant theater manager. The wedding will take place Aug. 15. The Brooklyn Chapter of Hadassah held the final board meeting of the season on Monday afternoon at the Johnson Building, presided by Mrs.

Horowitz, president. Many important problems concerning the welfare of the organization were discussed and plans were for the Fall and Winter activities. The first and largest event will be Hadassah Day on Nov. 10. The Brooklyn Hadassah will honor Mrs.

Adolf Slomka with the endowment of a bed in the RothschildHadassah- University Hospital in her name, in appreciation of her many years of service and leadership Mrs. Slomka was president of the Brooklyn Chapter for 13 years and now is chairman of the RothschildHadassah-University Hospital Building Fund, Brooklyn Division. The hospital is now under construction on Mt. Scopus, Palestine. Mrs.

Louis J. program and educational chairman, gave an outline for a larger and more active educational program for the coming season. The Jewish National Fund chairman, Mrs. Wilma Schwabacher, made an appeal in behalf of that activity. The importance of selling more bricks during the Summer by the members was stressed by Mrs.

Siegmund Spier, chairman of the brick campaign. Others who spoke at the meeting were Mrs. Isidor Taub, Mrs. David Sobel, Mrs. Zvi H.

Rubinstein, Mrs. Elias Socolof, Mrs. George Offin, Louis Moses, Mrs. Boris Orgayevsky, Mrs. Louis A.

Bunim and Mrs. Joseph Lukashok. Close to 200 guests attended the installation of officers of the Williamsburg Group at the home of Mr. ad Mrs. Max Blumberg, 691 Willoughby on Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Isidor Taub, past president of the chapter, was the guest speaker and installing officer. Mrs. Louis Icahn was installed as president of the group, succeeding Mrs. Isidor Oshlag, who held that office for two vears.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, John M. Campbell, wore a gown of white chiffon and a veil of tulle and carried a bouquet of gardenias and lilies of the valley. Miss Mary Campbell was maid of honor for her sister and wore peach net on taffeta and carried talisman roses and delphinium. Philip Moynahan was best man for his brother and the ushers were Charles Campbell and Brendon Moynahan.

Mr. and Mrs. Moynahan are 011 a motor trip through Canada. Coopersmith-Schwarzman The marriage of Miss Helen C. Schwarzman, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Samuel Schwarzman of Newark, N. to Irving Robert Coopersmith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Coopersmith, in the Brooklyn Jewish Center.

The ceremony was performed by Dr. Leventhal. The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother. The bride wore an ivory satin princess gown with long pointed sleeves trimmed with seed pearls at the Waistline and cuffs of the gown. Her lace veil was fastened to A wreath of lilies of the valley.

She carried white orchids and a Bible with streamers of lily of the valley. Miss Amelia Fiebush was maid of honor. She wore a blue satin gown with veil. Nat Schwarzman was best man. The ushers were Ira Schwarzman, Oscar Schwarzman, Sam Mosberg, Philip Dwaritz, George Fishman, Leo Shulder, Joseph Fuchs and Jack Seiler.

After the ceremony there was a reception at the Jewish Center. After a wedding trip to South America, Panama and Cuba, Mr. and Mrs. Irving R. Coopersmith will reside in Brooklyn.
