BROOKLYN EAGLE, FRIDAY, NOV. 7, 1941 8 Packer Girls Act as Models Senior Year Book Beneficiary Of Winter Fashion Show Packer girls were models yesterday afternoon in a fashion show held in the chapel of the Packer Collegiate Institute as a benefit for the senior yearbook, The Pelican, of which Marjorie Welsh, a member of the senior class, is editor-in-chief. Miss Welsh was in charge of arrangements for the show, which was presented by Oppenheim Collins. Two members of the faculty and four students in the elementary school also participated as models. Bay Shore, Dr. H. Driscoll Cain of White Plains and John S. Thomson of Hempstead. White chrysanthemums, ferns, palms and Autumn leaves were used to decorate the cathedral.

The bride is well known In Brooklyn where she formerly resided at 140 St. James' Place. She attended Packer Collegiate Institute, the Baldwin School and Frobel League. She made her debut here in 1938 and received at the debutante ball at the Heights Casino that season. The bridegroom attended St.

Paul's In Garden City and the University of Pennsylvania. Following a trip to Nassau, British West Indies, Mr. and Mrs. Conley will make their home In Princeton, N. J.

Brooklyn and Mrs. Walter R. Howell (Barbara Hoffmann) of Noroton, as bridesmaids. The bride was gowned in light ivory satin, made in basque style with an heirloom lace bertha of rosepoint and duchess. Her rosepolnt and duchess lace cap held a tulle veil which was trimmed with orange blossom clusters.

The bridal bouquet was a cascade of bouvardia and white orchids. Miss MacAdams wore a gold and russet velveteen frock, a headpiece of ostrich feathers holding a veil and carried gold chrysanthemums.
