Longbottom of 95 Linden Boulevard died yesterday. He had the honor of taking the first American Flag into the war zone after the German warning of January, 1915. He sailed on Feb. 2, 1917, commanding the steamship Dochra for Naples, making 28 days in the war zone. Commander Longbottom had also the honor of taking the flag Into other countries, having flown the first American Flag in Sweden in January.

1915. The Dochra was taken over by pallbearers today at funeral services for Channlng Sweitzer. managing director and treasure of the National Retail Dry Goods Association, at his home here. 277 Hamilton Road. Mr Channlng died Tuesday.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Harry N. Bassler of Harris-burg. Pa.

Norway, went to sea as a boy and before joining the Duke's expedition was captain of several ships, including whalers.
