Mr. Sturcke, a retired candy manufacturer and merchant, was found dead Thursday morning In his apartment, a victim of accidental gas poisoning. The gas of the kitchen range was on, the flames evidently having been ex tinguLshed when a pot of water boiled over whll ehe dozed in a Chair Mr. Sturcke came to this country from German when 17 and lived in Brooklyn most of his life. He retired from the candy business many years ago.

His wife. Mrs. Theresa Sturcke. died in 1932. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and formerly was active in the Steuben Society and other organizations.

Besides his son. Mr. Sturcke is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Ethel Ouimet. William Connolly, Highway Inspector Freeport, Aug.

2 William F. Connolly, an inspector of highways in Nassau County for more than 25 years, died yesterday in his home. 285 Pine St. He was 68. Mr.

Mr. King, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James King and had lived in the United States since he was 14. He numbered among his ancestors Donald Munro of Fowles Castle, Scotland, and the MacFln-ley family of Rosshlre.

His great-grandmother, Alexandrina Rass, was a daughter of Hugh Ross of rarreu castle. He also was a descendant of the Fraser family of Scotland, who were bankers at Inverness. Others of his ancestors were engaged in the shipbuilding Industry. Mr. King was an emeritus member of Manhattan Lodge 62.

Free and Accepted Masons, and also held membership in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He was a charter member of the Blue Room of Engineering Society Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow in E. C. Waldeck's Home for Funerals, 7614 4th Ave.

15th Manhattan, died Thursday in the home of her son, Horace B. B. Robinson, on Middle Hollow Road here. Born in Somervllle, N. Dr.

Robinson was graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, did graduate work at the Johns Hopkins University and re ceived her medical degree from the Medical School of the New York Infirmary for Women and Chil dren. The school, founded by her aunt, Elizabeth Blackwell, first woman doctor of medicine, was discontinued in 1899 Her husband. Alfred B. Robinson, a lawyer, died in 1941. Surviving, besides her son.
