Ahearn, 62, civil engineer employed by the Board of Transportation, was offered today in our Lady Queen of Martyrs R. C. Church, Forest Hills. Burial will be in Kingston. Mr.

Ahearn, who lived at 158 Burns Forest Hills, died Thursday in the Board of Transportation office at 250 Hudson Manhattan, of a heart attack. He was born in Boston and came to enter employ of the here, Metropolitan Park Commission in 1905. He transferred to the Board of Water Supply in 1907 and to the Board of Transportation in 1926. He was a World War veteran. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Grace Gibson Ahearn; a son, Bert two brothers and two sisters. Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Stelter Funeral services for Mrs. Emma L. Stelter of 600A 3d active in the Girl Scout movement and church circles for many years, will be held at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Stelter, wife of Harry Stelter, mill agent for a Manhattan cotton yarn firm, died Thursday. She was born in Manhattan and had lived on the Park Slope nearly all her life. She was captain of Troop S56 for nearly 30 years and was long connected with the Girl Scouts' Brooklyn Council. She was president of the Mizpah Society of Emanuel Lutheran Church before the merger with St.

Matthew's. Surviving, besides her husband, are her mother. Mrs. Anna C. Zanker: three sisters, Mrs.

G. W. Gasper, Mrs. A. S.

Mrs. Porter, widow of a retired policeman, died Thursday in St. Barnabas Hospital, the Bronx. Catherine Gremse, Teacher at P. S.

161 A solemn requiem mass for Catherine V. Gremse, a teacher at Public School 161, Brooklyn, who for a number of years was active in the work of the Catholic Big Sisters, was offered today in St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church, Lincoln Road and Nostrand Ave.

The funeral was from Ireland's Chapel, 1088 Nostrand with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Miss Gremse, who lived at 320 Fenimore died on Thursday in Roosevelt Hospital, Manhattan. Born in Brooklyn, she was graduated from Girls High School and the Maxwell Training School for Teachers. Before being assigned 161 she taught at P. S.

181. For many years she had been auditor of the Brooklyn unit of the Catholic Big Sisters. She also was a member of the Golden Hill Choral Society. Three brothers survive. They are George Edward S.

and Frank J. Gremse. John Droney, 86, I. R. T.

Veteran John Droney, 86, a retired employe of the Interborough Rapid Transit Company, died yesterday in his home. 14 Reeves Place. Windsor Terrace, after four weeks' illness. He was a native of Ireland. Mr.

Droney came to the United States as a youth and since then lived in Brooklyn. He was with the Interborough for more than 50 years when he retired. A former parishioner of St. R. C.

Church, Hoyt and Sackett he was long member of its Holy Name Society. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Regan and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday from the Higgins Funeral Home. 1286 Prospect Ave.

A solemn requiem mass will be offered at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Fort Hamilton Parkway and E. 3d St. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
