Her husband, John Smith, died in 1928. She was a member of the New Moravian Church, New Dorp, S. and a former member of the Women's Missionary Society. Surviving in addition to her son is a daughter, Mrs. Joan Phillips of New Dorp; a brother, Andrew Black of Scotland, and a sister, Mrs.

O'Brien, 67, of 358 96th retired Transit Authority employe. Mr. who died 1 day in Holy Family Hospital, was a motorman on the 5th Ave. trolley line for 33 years. When buses replaced trolleys he became a ticket agent.

Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Lyons was: a graduate of Boys High School and during World War I was a safety engineer at the Brooklyn Army Base. Previous ly he had been a law investigator. Since the war he had been connected with the atomic division of the Ferguson company. Mr.

Lyons was a member of Columbus Council, Knights of Columbus and the Patchogue Lodge of Elks. He moved from Brooklyn to Great Neck in 1950. His wife, Mrs. Loretta O'Brien Lyons, died in June, last year. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.

Mary Fanslow, Mrs. Purvis, Mrs. Loretta Finster and Mrs. Jean Flores; a son, Arthur Lyons two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Goate and Mrs.
