Mrs. Kathryn C. Dalton, Widow of Boro Attorney Mrs. Kathryn C. Dalton, widow of Thomas P.

Dalton, a well-known attorney, died yesterday at her home, 287 E. 18th St. She was the mother of Genevieve B. Dalton and Mrs. Daniel A.

Doyle, the latter a prominent Catholic leader and past president of the Brooklyn Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. Mrs. Dalton, a member of an old Brooklyn family, was born in Williamsburg and most of her life in the Bedford section before she moved to Flatbush. As a young woman she was prominent in Catholic charitable activities in the diocese. The funeral will be held Friday from the New York and BrookFuneral Home, 187 S.

He had been assistant counsel to the Interborough from 1918 until it was acquired by the city in 1940, when he assumed the post with the Board of Transportation. For many years he had been an elder of the First Reformed Church of Jamaica, and was a member of the leading bar asI sociations. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mabel Jeffrey Norton; three sons, Ralph Sidney J. and Jeffrey; a sister, Mrs.

Helen Bronson and five grandchildren. John L. Corcoran, Retired Fireman A solemn requiem mass for John J. Corcoran, 77, member of the New York Fire Department, was offered today in the Presentation Blessed Virgin Mother R. C.

Corcoran, who lived at 150-75 87th Jamaica, died Saturday in his home. He was born at Washington, N. and had lived at Jamaica since 1907. He was a charter member of the New York Uniformed Firemen's Association and a member of the New York Holy Name Society. Surviving wife, Mrs.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Alexander Abrams of Woodmere. John C. Baker, Insurance Adjuster Mineola, March 5 John C. Baker Jr.

of 43 Franklin Place, Garden City, an insurance adjuster for the William F. Mortimer Company, Manhattan, died yesterday in Nassau Hospital. Mr. Baker had been master of the Buckram Beagles Hunt, Syosset, for a number of years, and was a member of the National Field Hunt Club. He was a graduate of Williams College and served in both World Wars, in the second -conflict as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Air Forces.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Candee Baker; father; a sister, Mrs. Anne B. Roesler, and two brothers, Mills P. and Elliott C.

March 5 William B. Harris, former importer of coffee and more recently a in novelty advertising, died yesterday of a heart attack at the home of his son, the Rev W. Irving Harris, at 7 Cleveland Lane, where he had been living since last Summer. He was born in Brooklyn 80 years ago, and during World two gas mask War I served as controller! of Island City.

For many years before coming to Princeton. Mr. Harris lived in East Orange where he had been a Republican member of the City Council. also THe had been a deacon and elder of the Central Brick Presbyterian Church, and superintendent of its Sunday School. He was former president the William Harris Coffee Company, New York, also known as Old Dutch Mills at 165 Front St.

As a coffee expert he also worked for the late Dr. Harvey Wiley, known as the creator of the pure food and drug act. During World War TI Mr. Harris first operated a lathe in a factory and later was a buyer at the International Telephone Telegraph Company in Kearney, N. J.

Besides nis son, the Rev. W. Irving Harris, editor of The Evangel, an interdenominational magazine published in New York, he is survived by three grandchildren.
