Mary's Hospital. She had long been active in the parish work of St. Francis of Assisi Church. and since the first of the year had been vice president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Brothers of the Holy Cross, a organization. Other parish groups in which she had been active were the Rosary Society and the Con-Fraternity.

Her husband died in 1950. She resided at 23 Miami Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Buschman of Alexlandria, a son, Austin J. Daly; five grandchildren, Theodore, Richard, Dorothy and Jane Buschman and Jane Daly, and two brothers, Theodore and Robert Hoffman. N.

Peter's Hospital after several days' illness. He was born in Brooklyn, the son of the late James Murray, also a member of the New York Police Department, and for many years was with the Alien Squad, attached to Manhattan headquarters. When he retired in 1952, after 30 years in the department, he was the Butler St. precinct. Brooklyn, Surviving are four brothers.
