Not one passes without a fight, and over the silliest things. Fuchs of Valley Stream. Miss Fuchs is a graduate. of Valley Stream Central High School and is now empoyed by the Richmond Hill Savings Bank. Mr. Wagenknecht, an alumnus of Hempstead High School, is now studying electronics at Hofstra College, Hempstead.

Brayshaw-Barnes Betrothal Made Known Miss Jean Fuchs Will Be Married Mr. and Mrs. John C. Brayshaw of Rockville Centre announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Joan A. Brayshaw, to H.

Miss Mona Waters Honored at Party Miss Mona Waters, debutante daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Waters of Pond View, Lawrence, was feted last night by her parents at a cocktail at their country home followed by a supper at the Lawrence Beach. Club, where Lester Lanin's orchestra played for the weekly dance.

The debutante, who was graduated from the Sacred Heart Convent, Manhattan, will go to Briarcliff College in the Fall. She will be introduced to New York society at a dinner-dance to be held Dec. at the River Club. Manhattan. Jane Marie Wilson, Mr.

Brugnolotti of 192 30th was married June 23 at St. John the Evangelist Church to Harold Brooks Chase son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brooks Chase of New Haven, Conn. The reception was held at the Villa Roma.

The bride wore a gown, of embossed organdy with a bouffant skirt over taffeta, with an off-the-shoulder collar and a crown of orange blossoms, from which fell illusion fingertip veil. She carried gardenias and stephanotis. Miss Geraldine Brugnolotti, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a foam green gown of organdy and matching picture hat. Gordon Chase, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

The bride attended Long Island University and is an derwriter for Fidelity and Casualty of New York. Mr. Chase Jr. served as battalion sergeant major in World War I. He is a student at Columbia University.

Alexander, who arrived here 10 days ago with Mrs. Alexander, gave his daughter in marriage. Miss Mary Agnes Owen and Fielding McGuire were the attendants. The bride wore a gown of white tissue faille made with a bolera jacket and long full skirt. Her veil of illusion had a headpiece of the same material as her gown and she carried white orchids.

Miss Owen wore a tissue faille gown made in the same style as the bride's but of a pale lilac shade. She had a sequin head band and carried purple orchids. Mrs. Hansen was graduated from St. Angela, Hall last month.

She daughter of the late Mrs. Angelique Langvein Alexander. Mr. Hansen was graduated from Fleischmanns High School, Ulster County, New York. He served for two and years with the U.S.

Navy World War II. one The couple will live in Brooklyn on their return from a trip to the Catskill Mountains. Catherine Conaghan's Betrothal Made Known Mr. and Mrs. James Conaghan of 738 St.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a of white bouffant embroidered organdy, an illusion veil attached to a matching Juliet cap and she carried white orchids and gypsophila. Miss Dorothea Stonitsch was maid of honor for her sister and wore white embroidered organdy over maize taffeta and carried yellow rosebuds and blue delphinium. Miss Mary Halligan and Miss Marie Cullen were bridesmaids. They wore white embroidered organdy over aqua taffeta and carried pink rosebuds and gypsophila.

After a wedding trip to Canada the couple will live in Valley Stream. Mrs. Fraissinet was graduated from New Paaltz State Teachelers College and is a teacher at the Shaw Avenue School, Valley Stream. She wore a ballet-length aqua pique gown and carried un-nosegay of talisman roses. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Frederick H. Mold, St. Johnsbury, and Miss Ann Weaver, Roslyn Estates, both sister of the bridegroom.

Their lavender pique gowns matched maid of honor's gown and they carried nosegays of violets. Kenneth B. Berol of Philadelphia, was best man. The ushers were Frederick Mold, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Ramsay R. Taubert of Roslyn Estates.

Mrs. Weaver graduated from Radcliffe College, Cambridge, Mass. Mr. Weaver attended Worcester Academy and is graduate of Harvard University. He served in the U.

Navy for three years during World War I. He is associated with Brittain, Barry New York City. Mr. Weaver and his bride will reside in Manhattan after a trip to Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. Marian Feltham, Mr.

The bride attended West Virginia University, where she received a B.S. degree in art and has been an art teacher at South Side High School, Rockville Centre. Her husband, an alumnus of same university, is with the American Mining Congress, Washington, D.

The bride was gowned in lace over white satin. Her veil of illusion was fastened to a cloche of orange blossoms. She carried a prayer book with white orchids and stephanotis. Mrs. Sylvia Drabicki, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.

Her dress was of dusty lace and she carried purple larkspur and pink rose buds. A cap of matching flowers encircled her hair. Julius Karkosza was his brother's best man. The usher was Anthony Drabicki. Mrs.

Karkosza is a graduate of Bay Ridge High and Hunter College. Her husband is a graduate of Kings Point Academy and is employed as a cadet engineer for Consolidated Edison Company. After the honeymoon the couple will reside in Brooklyn. Virginia Valente Bride of Mr. Couch Mr.

and Mrs. Ralph Valente of 8667 23d Ave. announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Virginia Valente, to George R. Couch, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Couch of Los Angeles, Cal. The ceremony took place June 30 at St. Mary Mother of Jesus Church and was followed by a reception at the Terrace, Ocean Parkway and the Boardwalk. The bride wore white chiffon lace over satin and a Chantilly lace veil attached to a seeded pearl crown. She carried white orchids with orange blossoms and lilies of the valley.

Her sister, Mrs. Frances La Spina, served as matron of honor and wore American Beauty starched chiffon and yellow roses. The bridesmaids were the Misses Julia Valente, sister of the bride; Enza Castelluzzo, the bride's cousin, and Rose Mary Rizzuti. They wore yelchiffon and carried sweetheart bouquets of American roses. Joseph La Spina served as man.

Louis Valente, the bride's brother; Emanuel Castelluzzo, her cousin. and Jimmy Cascia were the ushers. The bride is a graduate of Lafayette High School and is associated with the Great American Insurance Company. The bridegroom is in the U. S.

Navy and has been in service for the past three and half years. After a trip to the Pocono Mountains, the will reside at 1730 61st St. Miriam E. Isaacson Becomes Affianced Mr. and Mrs.

Fred J. Isaacson of Lawrence have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Miriam Elna Isaacson, to Richard Morton Frankfort, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Frankfort of Cedarhurst. Miss Isaacson attended Brandeis University, Waltham, for two years and will continue her studies in the Fall at Adelphi College.
