Ann Maynard Engaged Elizabeth Pope Behr's Betrothal Announced Richard S. Maynard of 1 Pierrepont St. and Westhampton Beach announces the gagement of his daughter, Ann Gordon Maynard, to Richard Davis Rice, son of Mr. and Mrs. FranklinS.

Rice of Duluth, Minnesota. Miss Maynard is the daughter of the late Mrs. Laura Dudley Maynard and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin P.

Maynard and the late Dr. and Mrs. William F. Dudley. She attended Packer Collegiate Institute and was graduated from Westlover School, Middlebury, and Finch Junior College, Manhattan.

She is a member of the Junior League of Brooklyn. Mr. Rice was graduated from Forest School. Lake Forest. Ill.

He attended Cornell University and served overseas with the Navy during the war. He will be graduated from Michligan College of Mining and Technology in June. Vassar Graduate To Marry Lawyer Mr. and Mrs. Edward A.

Behr of 235 Berkeley, Place announce the betrothal of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth Pope Behr, to John Frederick Seiberling son of Mr. and Mrs. John Frederick Seiberling of 150 E. 72d Manhattan, and A Akron, Ohio. The prospective bride is the granddaughter of the late Rev.

and Mrs. Louis A. Pope of Newburyport, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustave E.

Behr of Brooklyn. Miss Behr attended the Packer Collegiate Institute and was graduated from the Mary C. Wheeler School, Providence. R. 1..

and from Vassar College with the class of '13. During the war she served with the Office of Strategic in Washington, D. and in Europe. Since that time she has been with the Government in Washington. Mr.

Seiberling is a grandson of Frank A. Seiberling of Akron, who is chairman of the Seiberling Rubber and the late Mrs. Seiberling, and of the late Judge and Mrs. J. Augustus Buckler of El Paso, Texas.

He was graduated from Staunton Military Academy and in 1941 from Harvard University. Dur. ling the war, Seiberling served in Europe for three years with the Transportation Corps of the Army, being discharged with the rank of major. He will be graduated in February from the Columbia University Law School. He will be with the law firm of Donovan, Leisure, Newton, Lumbard Irvine, Manhattan.

Lois Quick Reid To Become Bride Of Richard Cutler Mrs. Lois Quick Reid, ter of Mr. and Mrs. William' daugh Quick of 345 Clinton will be married to Richard Worcester Cutler of Somerville, son of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Waldo Page Cutler, today at 1:30 p.m. in Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims. The Rev. Dr. L.

Wendell Fifield, pastor of the church, will officiate at the ceremony assisted by the Rev. Ernest A. Harding, rector of the Church of the Messiah and Incarnation. A reception will follow at the Towers Hotel. Mrs.

Quick will be attended by Miss Edith H. Burns of Garden City, and Jams P. Cutler of Arlington, will be best. man for his brother. The prospective bride received her education at Froebel Academy, the Packer Collegiate Institute, and the Katharine Giggs School, Manhattan.

Mr. Cutler, who is the Southern Railway System, served four years in the navy, both in the South Pacific and the Mediterranean areas. The couple will make their home in Alexandria, Va. Their Future Looks Promising They are growing fast! Parker Smythe Sims (right) is the younger son of Mr. and Mrs.

John Colegrove Sims of Rockville Centre. He will be three on Feb. 17. His mother and father are former Flatbushites but have been living in Rockville Centre for two years. Parker's brother, John Colegrove Sims is now eight years old and a schoolboy attending Oceanside School.

Parker has blond hair and blue eyes and John is as dark as 'Parker is fair. They are the grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Richardson Smythe of 530 E. 22d St.

and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick G. Sims of New Haven, formerly of Brooklyn. The Caminiti boys (pictured below) are busters! They are Frank Christopher, who will be one year old on April 21, and Peter Anthony Caminiti, who will be three on July 21.

Frank is dark in coloring like his father and Peter is fair like his mother. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Cosimo A. Caminiti of 210 Clinton Ave.

Hesterberg Edward Hesterberg Weds Miss Coughlin The Shrine of the Blessed was the scene of the wedding daughter of Lt. Col. and Mrs. and Edward Joseph Hesterberg. former Borough President, Mrs.

Hesterberg of 536 E. 19th at noon yesterday. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Louis B. Motry.

A wedding breakfast, and reception followed at the Wardman Park Hotel, Washington. The bride, who was given in marriage by her stepfather Lieutenant-Colonel Hoehl, a gown of white faille. and St. John's Law School. He is practicing law in Brooklyn. Tiny Tim Society Meeting on Tuesday The Tiny Tim Society of the House of St. Giles the Cripple, Mrs.

J. Hunter Lack, president, will hold its monthly meeting in the social service room of the hospital, 1316 President on Tuesday. The society held the first of a series of small benefit card parties at the hospital last week. Miss Ida Louise Bainbridge was chairman and Mrs. Cord A.

On Friday evening, Feb. 25, the club will have a showing of "One Night of Love," starring the late Grace Moore, at the Academy of Music.

Those remembering that beautiful picture, and its lovely music, will certainly want to repeat that experience of yesteryear. Besides the presentation of this picture there will be another feature in which the Vassar alumnae will be most interested. However, we find that many of the young men of our community will be most eager to note this date. The Vassar Night Owls, a singing group of 12 undergraduates, will give a recital. The Vassar Night Owls are among the most attractive and popular girls at the college.

In fact, the Brooklyn club is mighty pleased that the young women will come to our borough, for it seems that they are in great demand at the many dances at the men's colleges as well as the co-ed parties. The members of the Vassar Night Owls will be enter, tained at dinner by Miss Mary Jean Eckardt at her homes. 35 Prospect Park West, before the performance.
