McHugh Funeral Home, 1016 Bedford Ave. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Rochford, who lived at 36 Madison died there Friday. He was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn and as a youth went to work for his father.

Thomas Rochford who had wagon and carriage manufacturing business on Bedford Ave. for many vears. With the decline of the horse and buggy era they turned to the manuture of auto bodies, the son succeeding to the business many years ago. He retired in 1935. During the recent war Mr.

Rochford was chairman of a lective service board in Greenpoint. had long been active in the 11th A. Democratic Club, and for many years had been an usher at the Nativity Church, and a member of its Holy Name Society. He also was active in the work of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of the parish.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen J. Rochford: four sons, two daughters: 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Three of his four sons. Dr.

75, of Garden City, died Friday. at the home of his sister, Mrs. Victor D. Cronk. La Grande, it was learned here yesterday.

He was a retired electrical engineer. Mr. Swnson, a native of Chicago, was a graduate of the University of Illinois and also held degrees in engineering from the University of Wisconsin and Cornell University. At one time he was a professor of electrica lengineering at the University of Illinois and at the navy, and Alan and Joseph as army, majors; another son, Howard, also survives. His two daughters are Mrs.

Leonore Cullen and Mrs. Helen Shalvov. Also surviving are two brothers. John and George Rochford. and two sisters, Amelia and; Anna Rochford.

University of Wisconsin. He was former national secretary of the American Electric Railway Association and, prior to his retirement about eight years lago, was associated, with the Barron G. advertising organization. Mr. Swenson was a 32d degree Mason, a member of the Golden Legion of Phi Delta Theta and a member of the Engineers Club of New York City.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. R. W. Bohonnon of Guilford, two sons, Bernard Robert of Broklyn and George of Vienna, and two sisters, Mrs. Cronk and Cara F.
