B. R. T. EMPLOYES FINED Three Found Guilty of Assault on John Gordon. Whon arraigned before Justice.

Collins in the Court of Special Sessions yesterday, James A. Bell, an inspector; Michael Dougherty and Martin Joyce, collectors, all employed by the B. R. were found guilty of having assaulted John Gordon, of Bath Beach, on the evening ofJuly 9, while he was a passenger on Bath Beach train bound for Park Row. Each of the three men were fined $25.

Mr. Gordon, who was the complainant, testified that he was on his way to Manhattan from his home in Bath Beach. He transferred from an Eighty-sixth street car to a West End elevated train. Mr. Gordon alleges that when the train arrived at the Thirty -sixth street station, where all tickets are taken up, the collector refused to accept his check because it had been punched an hour later than the time he made the transfer, and demanded another fare.

Gordon refused and an altercation ensued. The three men are said to have ejected Gordon from the car and beat him badly, until he was rescued by a crowd of passers-by. A policeman placed the four men under arrest. A counter charge of assault brought. against oGrdon was dismissed.
