BROOKLYN EAGLE SOCIETY Gala Party Planned for War Relief Afternoon, Evening Party on May 25 By HELEN BROWN Society Editor "Help Brooklyn Maintain Its Mobile Canteens and Ambulances in the War Torn Countries Overseas" asks the British War Relief Society, in its appeal for support of a gala bridge and luncheon to be given on Monday, May 25, at Plymouth Institute, Orange and Hicks Sts. Mrs. Percy R. Gra, is chairman of the bridge and Mrs. Thomas Sturgis, co-chairman, Mrs.

Morris Henry has charge of luncheon arrangements, assisted by a committee from the Flatbush Chapter. In the evening a dinner will be served from 6 to 8 o'clock with Mrs. Edwin A. Griffin as chairman, assisted by Mrs. Elmer A.

Tyrrel. Following the dinner games and an unusual rogram will be featured. Mrs. Arthur Wise is chairman of the British War Relief Society and Mrs. Franklin Taylor 1s general chairman of the day, Tiny Tim Society Plans Last Meeting The closing meeting of the season of the Tiny Tim Society, House of St.

Needham son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Needham of 2809 Avenue was announced at a small dinner party in the Wedgwood Room of the Waldorf -Astoria, Manhattan, this week. Miss Petri was graduated from St.

Agnes Seminary and from the Katharine Gibbs School. She made her debut at the Debutante Ball at the Heights Casino in 1939. Mr. Needham was graduated from Brooklyn Preparatory, Fordham University and Fordham School of Law and is a member of the New York State bar, presently engaged in the practice of law in Manhattan.
