The aggregation suffered defeat in its first three games, twice to the Buck 6 0, 196, and to the Club Jinks, 196, due to greenness. The club, which averages 165 pounds, smartly coached by Harry Holston, Dick Norris, and Howie Podolski, profited by those setbacks and finished the season in grand style by polishing off the next five opponents.

They included the Cheyennes, 136; Rams, 126; Panthers, 400; Buck Hubbards, 1'8 7, and Olympics, 580. Now that the team is fully organized and functioning smoothly, the Trojans will enter some league in 1951 if they don't organize their own loop in Canarsie. To gain the additional experience, the combine will play right through December if the weather permits. OFFENSIVE LINE POWERFUL The starting offent sive line, from tip to tip, is composed of Lenny Simeti, John Gentile, Jerry Price, Jimmy Minoti, Co-Capt. Neil Crystall, Albie Greenhaleh and Burt Saperstein.

The back-field has a personnel of Bob Greenhagh, quarterback; Stan Stracy and John Fitzpatrick, halfbacks, and Jerry Norotsky and Frank Espisito, fullbacks. The defensive line is made up of Joe Salidino and Mike Nickolini, ends; Matty Seigel replaces Price at guard, and a backfield man plays center. Th defensive backfield numbers Ed Davidson, Artie Kaufman, Fitzpatrick, Knute Farina and Artie Heller. Other able reserves who always do themselves proud when used are Joe Truglio, Joe Morielli, Morty Levine, Andy Gulitzia, Arnie Seidman and Ernie Volk. SAT ON ARMY BENCH Paul Sullivan son of the former coach of the Erasmus Hall football eleven and a sturdy tackle of Brooklyn Prep's eleven, sat on the Army bench during the game with Navy in Philadelphia's Municipal Stadium last Saturday afternoon.

The undefeated Mohawks of Marine Park will take on the Carroll Boys of the 150-pound division of the Parade Grounds League at the Parade Grounds Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. DID THEMSELVES PROUD Co-Capt. Arthur Pappas of this borouh wound up his career as a left halfbackiin soccer at Springfield College in a blaze of glory this Fall. Pappas, a product of Lafayette High, was brilliant on the defense during the campaign which saw Springfield, win seven of nine games. John Hartman, also of Brooklyn, did himself proud at right halfback on the eleven.

Leonard Axelrad, point-after-touchdown specialist, and Don Manus, a back of the Erasmus Hall High School football team, are making good in the political field at the FlatbusTi institution. They are presidents of the grades eight and six, respectively. One of the leading candidates for a place on the St. Michael's College of Winooski Park, freshman basketball team is Jimmy Schaefer of East Islip, L. I.

C. I. LOOP TO ENLARGE Pat Auletta, director, informs us that the Coney Island Baseball League plans to expand next season and is already making arrangements for the reception of new teams. The loop has the facilities to accommodate extra teams. Those interested should attend meetings Friday and Sunday, Dec.

15 and 17, details of which can be obtained from Fred Bernstein, 2817 W. 31st Coney Island, or by phoning him at ESplanade 2-5962. Teams, regardless of age limits, can be placed jn one of the divisions. The league has no entry fee but it does demand a forfeit fee which is returned at the end of the season after the schedule is completed if the team has met all of its obligations. It is a self-supporting, independent league.

Every player registered with the circuit will be insured against injury. All equipment is supplied by the league.
