Nelson Kerr, who retired (in 1933 as assistant superintendent in Brooklyn of the Prudential Insurance Company, died yesterday at his home, 410 E. 26th St. He was 82. For years Mr. Kerr had been active in the work of the Flatbush Presbyterian Church.

Foster Ave. and E. 23d and had long served as elder there. He also had been a member of the board of trustees, and had been active in the Flatbush Young Men's Christian Association. During the last war he was associated with the Flatbush division of the O.P.A.

He was born in Perry County, Pa. His wife, Mrs. Anna B. Harne Kerr, died in 1945. Mr.

Kerr is survived by his "son and Harriet daughter-in-law, Albert and Kerr; a grandson, Douglas Kerr: a sister, Amanda M. Kerr, and a brotherin-law, Joseph B. Harne. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Fairchild Chapel, 951 Atlantic Ave.

The Rev. R. A. Fewlass, pastor of the Flatbush Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Dryland Cemetery Hecktown, Pa.
