He was a member of the Postoffice Holy Name Society. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Frances Straus Morris and a daughter, Barbara. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Nicholas Blasius Jr.

Edwards, Wife of Undertaker Mrs. Eleanor L. Edwards, wife of Harrison .1. Edwards, borough undertaker, died Sunday at their home, 86 6th Ave. She had been ill nearly a year.

Born In Brooklyn, Mrs. Edwards, who was the daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret Doherty, had spent her entire life in the borough. She was a parishioner of St, Augustine's Church, 6th Ave. and Sterling Place, and had long been active in behalf of St. Anthony's Hospital, Wood-haven.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Franklin G. and Harrison J. Edwards a daughter, Mrs. Harriet E. Burkush; a brother, John Doherty of Long Beach, and 11 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday from the residence, followed by a solemn requiem mass at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Delahanty then interrupted with a "Now, now," and this line of questioning ceased.
