Dooley lied last night (Thursday) at his home, 206 11th at the age of 85.

He had been ill since October. The former police, officer was born Brooklyn and spent his entire life here. was a brother of former Inspector Robert E. Dooley, who around the turn of the century, was known as the "czar Coney Island." He was the father of the late William J. Dooley also a police lieutenant.

Lieutenant Dooley entered the Police Department, in the 1890s and retired 25 years ago. At that time he was at- Services Today For Wm. C. Clark Funeral services for William C. Clark, 73, a receptionist for the J.

C. Penney Co. at its W. 18th St. warehouse, Manhattan, were to be held today in the Higgins Funeral Home, 1286 Prospect Ave.

Burial was to Mr. Clark, who lived at 324 be in Green- Wood Cemetery. E. 5th died Wednesday in Methodist Hospital. He was a lifelong Brooklyn resident and had been with the Penney concern for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Isabelle, daughter of the late Wil-, liam Herries, for many years statistician for the Brooklyn Eagle: a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Plimley; a son, Harold W. Clark, three grandchildren. Mrs. Helen Haley Mass Set Monday Mrs.

Helen Haley of 8119 Ridge Boulevard died Thursday in Victory Memorial Hospital, 7th Ave. and 92d St. She was the widow of Thomas Haley, a sea captain for many years with the Puerto Rico Steamship Company. Mrs. Haley, born in Boston, came to Brooklyn 50 years ago.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas, Francis, a member of the Police Department, and John, a captain with the U. Merchant Marine; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Marcus: a brother, George Meroth, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday from the Clavin Funeral Home. 7722 4th Ave.

Robert Cook, World War I Vet Funeral services for Robert Cook. World War 1. veteran. long in the painting and decorating business, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at his home.

Robert Robley, 70, Ex- Phone Worker (Reprinted from Yesterday's Late Editions) The funeral of Robert Bruce Robley, 70, a retired employe of the New York Telephone Company, with which he had been for nearly 39 years, will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from the McManus Funeral Home, 2001 Flatbush Ave. A solemn requiem mass will be held at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent Ferrer's R. He was a native of England and had been a resident of this country since a youth. He educated in the Peddie School, New Jersey, and the University of Richmond. For many years he was with the building maintenance service of the telephone concern. He retired about three years ago. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Holy Name Society of St.

was born in Brooklyn and spent most of his life in the Hill section. In recent years he spent a large part of his time in Redding Ridge, Conn. 'Of English descent, his family settled in what is now Westchester County about 1740. In 1907 Mr. Leggett married the former Janet Henry, daughter of the Rev.

Andrew Henry of Jersey City, a Presbyterian clergyman. Long a member of the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church Mr. Leggett had been on its board of elders for the last 10 years. Surviving, besides his wife. are a son, Richard Lee Leggett of Milford.
