Rollin Ashley Brackenridge wts born on August 1, 1887, ln Brooklyn, Pa. He had lived in Brooklyn about twenty-eight years. His father was a Methodist minister, who was at one time superintendent of Seney Hospital. Mr. Brackenridge went to the public schools here, and finished his education at the Episcopal Academy of Connecticut, and at Trinity College.

He studied law at the Columbia University Law Mr. Breckinridge entered the Corporation Counsel's olfice as an assistant to Justice Joseph A. Burr, now of the Supreme Court, when the latter was corporation counsel of Brooklyn. Before be went Into the Corporation Counsel's office Mr- Breckenridge was a member of the firm of Elliott Jones, Breckenridge nj Dates. resumed his mnnnHnp I Ihi rnr poiallua counsel's office under the administration of O'eorge L.

Rives, and was an assistant for two years in the Bureau of Street Openings under Charles S. Taber. who had charge of the Mr Breckenridge was a Republican In politics. He was a member of the Aa8dation, the Richmond Hill Golf Club and the Queens County Chess Club. Ha was also an enthusiastic billiard player and bowler.

The dead man was a member of Grace M. E. Church. He is survived br widow -and two children, a daughter of 12 and a soil of 4. and also by his mother, and sister, both of whom reside at Scranton, Pa.
