Massenet's 'Manon" was the attraction, Queena Mario and Charles Hackett singing the leading roles in place of Lucrezia Bori and Richard Crooks, who were prevented from appearing because of illness. Bright new Spring evening gowns dotted the opera house. All about comments were heard on "how unfortunate this is the last opera of the season" and a fine season it has been. Happy selections have been made for each performance and at each of the eight evenings of Brooklyn opera the Academy's opera house was filled.
