December 7 The com-mittee of taxpayers representing Inwood, Lawrence and Cedarhurst, to confer with the Board of Education of Union Free School District No. 15 In the matter of the proposition to assess the district for $75,000 for the purpose of repairing and enlarging the Lawrence High School, has decided that the building Is too old to spend so much money on and will re port at a special meeting of the school district on December 17, that it approves a proposition to sell the present High School property In Central avenue and to purchase a new site at some point north of the railroad tracks on which to erect a new and modern brick and stone building.
