Half million dollars Is being spent upon Dreamland, Coney Ialnnd, in improvements arid new attractions for the coming- season, which will open on Saturday, May in. Of this sura $2.10,000 are being applied to the erection of a mammoth building. In which the attraction "Creation" is to be produced. This Is the conception of Henry RoUnire, and 1 a representation of the creation of the world as narrated in Genesis. It is a beautiful and impressive illusion.

"Creation" was the most conspicuous attraction on the l'ike at the St. Louis Fair. President William II. Reynolds, of Dream-laud, has perfected plans for a free' exhibition ol a Roman fete. Aroitud the lagoon has been constructed the largest hippodrome track In (he world.

The entertainment will legin with a pageant of Roman soldiers, performers, chariots, animals and riders. The hippodrome entertainment, it is claimed, will number more features than were ever seen In any show. There will be four-horse chariot races, standing Kotnan races, races between ostriches, a race between a horse and an oBlrlch, and races between ponies, with monkeys as riders. A free programme will also be given In the circus ring adjoining the hippodrome track. An Imported novelty is "Hiram Maxim's Airship," which Is now in course of erection on the plaza.

It is being constructed of steel and when completed will be 100 feet high, with a spread of 180 feet. This has been one of the most popular forms of entertainment in England. Where the Boat" was formerly located. "Hell Gate" will lake Its place. This feature consists of a boat ride, which follows the circling stream.

When the boat reaches the center of the gate It disappears from sight, the ride being continued apparently under the surface of the water. "The Mighty Dollar" has never been presented in Brooklyn by amateurs.
