Joseph J. McKegney of 811 Halsey St. Wittcke-Zwirz Miss Ruth Burkhardt Witteke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A.

Wittcke of Malverne, will be married on Saturday to the Robert Emmet Zwirz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Zwirz of 8623 54th. Elmhurst. The ceremony will be performed by the Rev.

Andrew Van Antwerpen, pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church of Malverne, in the church. Miss Minola Wittcke will be her sister's maid of honor. Another sister, Miss Gladys Wittcke, Miss Marion Hanel of Richmond Hill, Miss Beatrice Schaberger of Elmhurst and Mrs. Herbert Larson' of Malvern will be the bridesmaids. Frederick Zwirz will serve his brother as best man.

Those who will usher are Herbert Larson of Malverne, Herbert Repole of Manhattan, Kingsley Schaberger of Elmhurst and Henry Pase of Springfield. There will be a reception at Niederstein's, Lynbrook. When the couple return from a fortnight's wedding trip, they will live in Rosedale. Levine- Schuman Miss Adele Grace Levine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Morris Levine of 713 Montgomery will become the bride of Jack Howard Schuman, of Mr. and Mrs. Paul SchuSon. of 509 Crown at 1 p.m. today in the Bermuda Terrace of the Hotel St.

George. The Revenend Harry Halpern will officiate. The bride will have Miss Barrie Bellows as her only attendant. Howard Stern will act as best man. Miss Levine attended Pratt Institute.

Mr. Schuman attended Washington and Jefferson University. The couple will go to California and will live in Brooklyn. Levy--Ross Mr. and Mrs.

Samuel S. Levy of 1075 Park Manhattan, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Ruth Levy, to Theodore Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard H. Ross, 2055 E.

5th St. The couple will be married in the latter part of the Summer. The bride-to-be was graduated from Fieldston School, Manhattan, and is a member of the senior class at Vassar College. Mr. Ross was graduated from New York University in 1933 and from New York University Law School in 1936.

At present he is an executive of one of the major coal and oil corporations. Tracy--Wiener Mrs. Gertrude Tracy of Lawrence announces the engagement of her daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Tracy, to Joseph Wiener, son of Mrs. Gertrude Strauss Wiener of Lord Lawrence, and the late Dr. Joseph Wiener.

The prospective bride's father was the late Michael Tracy. She is a graduate of Woodmere High School and is attending the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences. Mr. Wiener prepared at Lawrenceville and was graduated from Yale University. He is a member of the Yale Club of New York and the Inwood Country Club and is associated with Schner Bloc.

Corp. The couple will be married on Aug. 26 in the rectory of St. Joachim's R. C.

Church, Cedarhurst. Garden Party Missionary societies of St. John's Methodist Episcopal Church will sponsor their annual garden party at the home of Mrs. Henry C. Ryon, 625 Flatbush on June 18.

The proceeds of the party will go for the church fair which will be held in the Fall. Mrs. George W. May and Charles Foelix will have charge of the program, which will be followed by the serving of refreshments. Young Ladies Aid Mrs.

Alice Tuttman, honorary vice president of the Brooklyn Young Ladies Aid Society; Mrs. Anna Heller, president, entertained members of the organization at her home at Deal Beach, N. this week. The bimonthly will be held on Tuesday the meeting, home of the treasurer, Mrs. Ida Berger, 825 Prospect Place.

Rose Dance Plans A "Rose Dance" will 1 be given on Saturday, June 22, at 8:30 p.m., by the Parents Association of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Fife, Drum, Bugle and Cadet Corps the school hall, Fort Ha Hamilton Parkway and E. 3d St. The dance will be the closing event of the season, and the proceeds will be used toward the camp and cadet fund, the association's project for the past year. The chairmen of the committee are Mrs. Margaret Starkey and John Conklin.

Joseph L. Horowitz (left) will be installed tomorrow as president of Brooklyn Chapter of Hadassah for the fourth consecutive year. and Mrs. George McDowell of 1195 E. 46th at 5 o'clock last night. Dr. Arch Tremayne performed the ceremony at the Kings Highway Methodist Church.

A reception followed at the Hotel Pierrepont. The bride wore a gown of white lace and net. a fingertip veil with a snood decorated with orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white lilac peonies and bridal wreath. Miss Lillian Grospel of Hempstead was maid of honor. She was dressed in aqua marquisette with an aqua circular veil and carried a bouquet of yellow daisies and flame African daisies.

The bridesmaids, Miss Grace Raffa and Mrs. William Applegate of Brooklyn, wore yellow marquisette dresses, circular veils and carried bouquets of yellow daisies and blue iris. Miss Denise Glennon of Brooklyn was the flower girl and wore yellow net with aqua ribbon and carried a small basket of petals. Joseph Sperzel of Brooklyn was best man and acting as ushers were Norman Meglathery of Scarsdale and Charles Baumann Jr. of Brooklyn.

The bride received her education at Hempstead High School and 1s a member of the Philharmonic choir. Mr. McDowell attended Stevens Institute of Technology and is a member of Sigma Nu and Tau Beta Pi fraternities. After a wedding trip to Virginia Beach the couple will reside in Parkchester. Weekend Outing Union Temple Senior League 1s holding its annual outing this weekend at the Cedars Country Club, Lakeville, Conn.

The members are taking part in a varied program arranged by directors Murray Heilweil, Henry Tobias and L. B. Samuels. In the group are the Misses Juliette Dorfman, Ray Levine, Lilian Gaberer, Rita Lane, Rita Jasper, Dorothy Levine, Helen Brown; also Henry Stain, Harold Weil, Arthur Weil, Stanley Borchardt, Louis Grodsky and Arnold Korman. Among the activities on the schedule are a Union Temple golf tournament on the Cedars 18-hole course, a basketball game and a Conga contest with music by Harry Lefcourt and orchestra.

Coburn to Be Feted Special to the Brooklyn Eagle Hewlett, June 8-Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Cartwright Jr. of Hewlett Bay Park are at Washington, where they have leased the Charles Whitman house.

They have their daughter, Miss Mildred Patton Cartwright, and John W. P. Cartwright, who was just graduated from the Choate School, with them. Mr. and Mrs.

Henry Seabury Parker are at their home on East Rockaway Road for the Summer. Mr. and Mrs. Schuyler Merritt are back at their home in Hewlett Bay Park from Albany, where they were the guests for few days of Richard Burdette Jr. To Wed Southerner Mr.

and Mrs. Jasper R. Pendergraph of Durham, N. have anthe engagement of their daughter, Miss Margaret Pendergraph, to Richard C. Burdette son of Mr.

and Mrs. Richard C. Burdette of Brooklyn. Miss Pendergraph graduated from St. John's Hospital in Brooklyn.

Mr. Burdette is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and of Pratt Institute, division of mechanical engineering. He is engaged as an engineer on the liner Washington of the United States Lines. Fogel-Forst Miss Adelaide Forst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Leon Forst of 360 Central Park West, Manhattan, was married last Sunday to David Fogel, son of Mrs. Sadie Fogel of 1053 E. 13th St. and Isaac Fogel. Rabbi William F.

Rosenblum performed the ceremony in the presence of a small gathering of relatives and friends at the Savoy Plaza Hotel, Manhattan. Miss Rose-Marie Forst, sister of the bride, was her only attendant. Julius Fogel, brother of the bridegroom, was his best man. Atfter a trip the couple will make their home in Manhattan. Wallace-DeBruyn Miss Josephine Jeanne DeBruyn, daughter of Mrs.

John Babtist DeBruyn of 2424 Ocean became the bride of Arthur John Wallace son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur John Wallace Sr. of 1119 Park Place, yesterday at a nuptial mass celebrated at St. Edmund's R.

Church. A wedding breakfast followed in the Chinese Room of the Hotel St. George. The bride had Miss Ruth Anne Devlin as her maid of honor and Miss Beatrice Marie Dunne as her bridesmaid. Thomas Parker Wallace, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man with Joseph A.

Monahan, Cornelius J. Dwyer and Luke S. Clark as ushers. The bride wore a princess type gown of white satin and a tulle veil fastened to a cap of organdy and orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white orchids and lilies of the valley.

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace will go on a motor trip through New England and will live in Flatbush upon their return. Mr. and Mrs.

Lewis Greenleaf Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph B. Semler have leased their home in Woodside Drive, and on Friday will go to Fisher's Island.

"Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Hendrick Russell have opened their country home in Hewlett Bay Park for the season. Mr. and Mrs.

Frederick G. Coburn have leased the Rushton Peabody house at Hewlett Harbor for the season from Friday. On that day Mrs. Coburn give a cocktail party in compliment to Mr. Coburn, who will observe his birthday anniversary.

Installations Close Mizrachi Season Installation of officers of Brooklyn chapters of the Mizrachi Women's Organization of America, religious women's Zionist organization, marks the closing week of the season's activities. Mrs. Pearl Reifman was installed as president of the Brownsville chapter by Mrs. A. D.

Burack. Other chapter officials are Mrs. Helen Goldstein, Mrs. Anna Schindel, Mrs. Jennie Daiell, Mrs.

The Adela Goldstein Chapter, dean of national chapters, will hold its Spring luncheon on Monday, June 17, at Rothmann's Inn. Rabbi Jacob and Mrs. Louis Wald will be the guest speakers. Mrs. Abraham Groden is chairman, assisted by Mrs.

Jacob Levinson. Mrs. Joseph Landau, president of the Rockaway Parkway group, was installed at a meeting of that chapter Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Henry Gewirtz, treasurer, 538 Hinsdale St. Rabbi Leonard B.

Gewirtz, son of the hostess, officiated at the ceremonies. The final meeting of the Boro Park Chapter was held Monday evening at the Brooklyn Hebrew Institute, with Mrs. Sussie Berman, president, presiding. Mr. Israel was the speaker.

Flatbush Mizrachi held 8 lawn party, mah jong and bridge Wednesday afternoon in the graden of Mrs. Harry Aber's home, 990 E. 8th St. Mrs. Jacob Kestenbaum is president.
