He was 79. The bearded banker was sometimes known as the "mys-' tery man of finance" because of his habit traveling incognito. On several visits to the United States he used assumed names to hide his identity. In 1933, at the age of 61, he surprised financial friends in England by marrying Mrs. Priscilla Wortshorne, a widowed 35-year-old member of the London County Council.

Dr. Claude Munger Quincy, Feb. 4 (U.P.)Claude Worrell Munger, nationally known hospital ministrator and former president of the American Hospital Association, died last night. A native of Orleans, Munger retired in 1948 after serving for 11 years as direcof St. Luke's Hospital New York.

George de F. Lord, Admiralty Lawyer Funeral services for George de Forest Lord, 58, admiralty lawyer and president of the Children's Aid Society, Manhattan, who died Thursday in Savannah, were held yesterday in St. James Church, Madison Ave. and 71st Manhattan, Mr. Lord, born in Lawrence, was one of the fourth generation of the Lord family to become a member of the law firm of Lord, Lord, 25 Broadway, Manhattan.

He had been a partner of the 1923 and was legal representative of a number of steamship companies, including the Cunard White Star Line and the Isbrandtsen Company, Inc. Surviving are his wife, Jr. and Edward C. 2d; a Hazen S. Lord: two sons, Cheorge ter, Mrs.

Charles G. Meyer two brothers, Edward C. and Franklin B. Lord. the University of Chicago and received his medical degree from Rush Medical College at Chicago.

He was president of the A. H.A. from 1936-1937 and received that organization's award of merit in 1949. He is survived by two sons, Douglas and Lawrence King, the latter a member of the New York Fire Department; two daughters, Ethel King and Margaret Wehrum; two brothers, Michael J. and Frank King; a sister, Mrs. Helen Sweeney, and three grandchildren.
