Moore, 93, of 121 97th retired silversmith and engraver who years ago founded Sons, Stanhattan, died the firm Moore Friday in "Clearwater, where he had been since November.

He was a native of England. Coming to the United States as a youth, Mr. Moore became a skilled silver designer, all of his work being done by hand. The insignia both the New York Police Fire Departanal ments were designed by him. He retired about 40 years ago and had traveled extensively since.

For many years he had a country home in Amityville, and until a year ago, despite his age, drove his own car about town. He made the trip to the South by plane last Fall alone. A member of Dongan Council, Knights of Columbus, since 1904. Mr. Moore was a past grand knight of unit.

He also was a 4th degree member of the Long Island General Assembly, K. of C. His wife. Mrs. Mary Millicent Moore, died in 1938.

He is survived by a son, James president of the silversmith firm; three daughters, Mrs. Mari C. Bown, Mrs. Ethel M. Pape and Mrs.

Florence E. Stapleton; a sister, Mother Elizabeth of the College of the Sacred Heart, SILLENCE WILLIAM on February 27, 1953, beloved husband of Grace; devoted brother of George L. and John C. Sillence. Member of Aurora Grata Lodge, No.
