services for Elmer W. Oliver, president of the Manhattan printing firm of Palmer Oliver, which he helped to tound in 1899, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Fairchild Chapel, 951 Atlantic Ave. The Rev. Arthur Acy Rouner, pastor of Cadman Memorial Congregational al Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Cypress Hills Cemetery. Mr. Oliver, who lived at 345 Clinton Ave. and Shoreham, L. died on Thursday at the age of 79.

He was born in Brooklyn, a member of a family that came here in Colonial days. He attended old Public School 3. For many years Mr. Oliver was secretary of the Typothetae which eventually the New York Employing Printers Association. He continued his interest in the latter association until his death.

His home was at 628 Bergen St. Mr. Hinton, who was born in Brooklyn, was once a member of the New York Fire Department. His survivors include two sisters, Catherine Hinton and Loretta Cavanaugh, and two brothers, William and Walter. The funeral will be held Tuesday from the Quayle Funeral Home, 134 Smith St.

He also was president of the Shoreham Country Club. Mr. Oliver was a life member of Bedford Lodge, F. A. and belonged to the Sons of the Revolution and the Apollo Club.

Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Robins, whom he married in 1905; two sons, E. Wesley Oliver Jr. and Robert Robins Oliver, both associated in business with their father, and a brother, Harry C. of Mattituck, and four grandchildren. G.

Sunnyside. Humphreys, an accountant, died Tuesday night at his home, 43-06 46th Sunnyside. His father, whose booming voice was as much a part of big boxing bouts as the blows of the battlers he introduced from the ring, died in 1936. Mrs. Harden was born in Brooklyn, and while a resident in that borough was active in the parish work of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Later she moved to Belle Harbor, and active in St. Francis thersalas parish.

Until recently she made her home at Beach 131st Belle Harbor. Her husband died in 1945. Surviving are a daughter. to Mrs. Mary A.
