SELLING RAZORS AT A PICNIC. Frank Rose Arrested on a Charge of Carrying Concealed Weapons at Ulmer Park. Selling razors at a negro picnic in Ulmer Park may be classed as one of the hazardous undertakings, and Frank Rose, a Manhattan barber, who thought he would earn a few honest pennies that way, got in bad with the police last night. They were not safety razors, either, but designed for social usage. There wan no bloodshed reported.

but Patrolman Jacob Long of the Bath Beach station gave chase to the young barber as soon as he heard of the commodity that was being peddled around. Ulmer Park on a picnic night is lively enough without razors. After a chase of two blocks the officer caught Rose. who said he lives at 11 Bowery. Manhattan.

In his pockets were found, besides the razors. a revolver with all the chambers empty.
