July 16 Notwithstanding the fact that tho people of Cairo are pretty busy caring for the vast number of summer visitors who are enjoying the hospitality of its comfortable hotels and boarding houses, they are finding time' to arrange for the Cairo Fair, which will be held August 23, 24 and 25. The Cairo Fair is undoubtedly the most unique and the best known of the different county agricultural fairs held in New York State. Liberty, N. July 16 With the season now fairly open, visitors are piling into the county by the thousands. Every Incoming train bears Its load, and the greatest percentage of these loads are deposited at Liberty, the very center of the summer resort world of Sullivan County. Each succeeding Saturday taxes the carrying capacity of the railroad to a greater extent. Socially, Liberty Is already in the very midst ot the season.

Dances are held every week at the St. James, at the Wawonda and at the Walnut Mountain House. At the Liberty House Casino there is dancing every evening. Once a week is band concert night, and large crowds gather in front of the Liberty House. Whist and euchre are favorftes at the Wawonda and Buckley, respectively.

LUZON EVENTS. Luzon, N. July 16-Miss Irene Campbell, a well-known Brooklyn young woman, took a leading part in a musicale given by the guests of the Columbia last week. Miss Campbell is a pupil of Livingston Chapman. A euchre party was held Wednesday evening and a dance was enjoyed last night.
